FAQ’s

Silica (silicon dioxide) is essential for healthy plant growth by fortifying cell walls which in turn increases your plant’s resistance to pests and diseases and helps with chlorophyl production and photosynthesis. It also improves your plant’s uptake of nutrients and enhances structural support. Silica supplements are particularly important in soilless systems since they don’t give your plants natural access to silica from the soil. In soil grown plants, Silica can help fight off manmade and natural toxins in the root zone.

Learn more about the importance of silica and how a deficiency affects your plants here.

To spot a Silica deficiencies you need to keep an eye out for;

  1. Weak stems
  2. Yellowing and stressed leaves with curling or wilting
  3. Increased susceptibility to pests and diseases
  4. Slow growth or reduced yields.

These symptoms can be caused by other deficiencies as well so perform a full diagnosis on your plant before adding any further supplement. Reach out to us to get assistance!

Yes. Too much silica can lead to a buildup of salts and cause nutrient lockout and root damage. Symptoms of silica nutrient lock include browning or burning on the tips of the leaves, reduced or stunted growth and low yield.

My typical average is a steady 20-22 lbs with 8 lights. On the first round of use, we went from 22lbs to 29.84lbs and we have held steady with an average of 7 lbs increased production since we implemented Amplify. At first, it was hard to believe. Now, all can say is thank you.

Plants are LOVING it. Even my Kale, that should be dead at this point in the Tennessee heat is re-growing since adding the Amplify two weeks ago. My plants went from almost dead/ finished to fully thriving. So weird. But so cool!

Shout out to Amplify for putting together a great product. Our main cultivation facility at Twenty20 has been implementing trials on Amplify for the past 6 months. So far the results are impressive. We’ve managed to lower our fertilizer input and improve overall health and vigor in our crop. We are not a company that relies on excessive additives and “snake oil” magic formulas. We do however rely on living microbes to create nature’s finest recipe for plant success. We are excited to continue our experiments with Amplify and will be sharing the quantitative results as soon as possible
